The MITA Water Technologies (MITA WT), pile cloth filters are noted as an established key market player for disc filtration within the wastewater filtration market by Global Water Intelligence, the leading publisher for the international water industry.
According to the GWI article entitled “Wastewater filtration sees new drivers for primary and tertiary treatment,” non-membrane filtration methods are seeing a significant uptick in wastewater treatment with the growth of the tertiary treatment niche, as well as increased stormwater events.
These findings fully align with the strategy behind adding the MITA WT technology to the product portfolio here in North America and ultimately acquiring them to be an Axius Water company, as announced in September 2024.
